Spectators are treated to an elevated PGA TOUR event with a relaxed, atmosphere with extensive wine tasting, gourmet culinary offerings, headline music acts, and many other fan activations.

Held during the famous "Crush Season" in Napa Valley, the Fortinet Championship attracts food and wine aficionados with the likes of Chef Thomas Keller, of French Laundry, bringing his local culinary offerings, Ad Hoc Addendum and La Calenda; and with the participation of numerous local wineries, some of the best in the country, returning year after year to showcase their best vintages in unique ways.

Setting the Stage

With a reputation for consistently attracting big name acts, the Fortinet Championship Concert Series showcases live music on Friday and Saturday nights after the golf. Previous acts include Jake Owen, Jimmy Buffett, Billy Idol, Bad Company, O.A.R., Goo Goo Dolls, X Ambassadors, Gavin DeGraw, Weezer, OneRepublic, and many more.

First Things First

Traditionally, the event has served as the season’s first event and welcomes the game’s next generation of stars as new graduates from the Korn Ferry Tour. Players also enjoy a friendlier, more relaxed environment with each other and with fans before the season heats up. The event was recently awarded the "Most Fan Friendly Event" by the PGA TOUR, further reinforcing the title sponsor's commitment to putting fans first.

TECHNOLOGY

Silicon Valley-Approved

In just two years as title sponsor, Fortinet has transformed the event into the must-attend Tech Summit of the PGA Tour with over 400 different companies from the Bay Area and golf world participating and presenting at symposiums and panels throughout tournament week. Participants can attend networking happy hours, play in the Pro-Am, and enjoy the tournament at various Fortinet suites throughout the course.

LOCALLY INVESTED

Here for Good

In just four years, the event has raised over $8 million for local charities in Napa Valley. Through its interaction with multiple local restaurants, wineries, and other businesses, the Fortinet Championship is highly connected in the local community. After the 2017 event concluded, wildfires ravaged the Napa community. In 2018, the event donated all ticket sales to fire relief in the local area.
